As I stood there like a ice block. I heard a voice 1 2 3 GO! I ran like the wild wind but people were already in front of me. I felt my heart beating so fast. In my head I was thinking about the hill.

I saw people climbing up the hill I thought I can´t do that but I did. I tried to walk but every time I turned I saw a teacher waving. In my head the only thing I was thinking about was finishing the race.

Finally I did one lap but other dreadful lap was coming. Suddenly I heard cheering all of the children were cheering for me it felt like I was in the spotlight  but only for one second

Every step I took it felt like my legs were coming off. As I ran I looked up the hill. It felt like the hill was Mount Everest.

Then I remembered it was my last lap I ran as fast as a cheetah I crossed the finish line I didn`t win but I felt like I was a champion.

Why animals should not be kept in zoos

I absolutely believe that animals should not be kept in zoos and here are the reasons why hunting, separation and enclosure.

Firstly, enclosure, Imagine you're a humongous  elephant and a zookeeper squeezes you in a tiny cage with other elephants. What else can be worse, the part when you pee and poo in front of hundreds and hundreds of people how embarrassing !

Now for the second part separation. Separation is the saddest part.This is what happens to some mammals. The babies are born and in a blink of an eye they gone. The zookeeper tokes them. The mum didn’t even get to have a look at them. Taken away for some months but for them it feel like one million years

Now for the final point hunting. All animals need to hunt. Imagine a big lion that is from the wild is treated like a dog. The lion don’t hunt for food they lay down and walk around the place but in the wild they  hunt for food whenever they want it but in the zoo they wait hours to get fed.

Now I hope you understand why animal should not be kept in zoo because of these reasons hunting, enclosure and separation.

Why Korea is better than New Zealand I absolutely believe that living in Korea is better than New zealand and here are the reason why transport, shopping and a faster internet. Firstly a faster internet if you’re in New Zealand, You sit on your chair waiting and waiting your will be thinking ‘’this is going to take a hundred years.” But in Korea you turn your device on and in a blink of an eye it is on, how great is that! Now for the second part shopping In korea. A mall is heaven for adults and for children. In the shop or mall is a playground, it is inside right next to it is Lego World when you take one step you see huge statues made out of Lego. It feels like it’s bigger than the Sky Tower. While the kids play the adults have a break and go shopping and drink coffee I was saving the best for last, transport, in Korea people ride buses some people do drive car but not many, it is a good thing. Imagine you’re ready for school but your mum still in bed there are no buses and you can’t drive and you’re all late because of your mum but when you ride a bus you get there in know time. Now you will know why I like korea more than New Zealand and I hope one day you will get the chance to go to Korea.

My Speech

1.What if the only mammals in the world where just bats .Imagine you’re at the zoo and you only see bats. How boring would that be. If you guys are thinking about bats you’re right. Some people think bats only come out night but some bats can come out daytime	3.Now I will tell you another reason why people kill bats. They use their skin and bones for clothes and making decorations.
2.Now I am going to tell you why bats are so important. some bats eat bugs mosquitos and insects That means there are less insects to bite us. Fruit bats are important as well. They eat the fruit and drop the seeds on the ground then the seeds grow into a delicious fruit tree.
4.Some people think bats are dangerous,ugly and pass diseases to people but they actually are scared of people and are very shy. Everyday there are less and less bats. The reason is because predator eat them when the bats a asleep. The animal that eat bats are hawks,owls,snakes and spiders. you may ask how can a spider eat a bat if it is smaller? When the bats goes to sleep the spider wraps his web around the bat then eats it.

5.Now I will tell you about the smallest and largest bats in the world. The smallest bat in the world is a bambebee bat or you can call it a kitti hog nosed bat. It is the smallest bat and the smallest mammal as well. It is the size of your finger.
6.Now the largest bat in the world is a giant golden crowned flying fox. Its wing span is 1.5 or 1.7 metres long and it half size of an Adult		8.What do bats eat? Well they eat buds of course but there’s a weird kind of food they eat it is called a scorpion.Now I think I told you all the facts about bats. I hope you like my speech
7.The most dangerous bat in the world is a vampire bat and it actually drinks blood. They drink the blood from animals like cow,horses and bird and more They kill them first and drink they blood.

I opened the door and there were kids everywhere. Boys

were climbing out the window and there were paper planes all over the place. My best friend Anna was holding one of the rats from the science lab and the rest were running all over the room. Anna told me there were no teachers none at all.

I opened the door to the classroom at full speed. ‘’Duck! yelled matt and a huge paper plane came diving right at my head. ‘come on’. Jack was halfway out the window, two boys were right behind him. My best friend Anna was holding one of the rats from the science lab the rest were running everywhere. ‘what happening? I asked her. There’s no teacher, she cried. None at all ! then my heart beats faster and faster and faster.

The kids stop running and stood still like an ice block. Suddenly all the rats leapt out of the window. Then the kids leapt out of the window.

It felt like the rats ran around the field hundreds and hundreds of times.

Then suddenly we heard a voice it was the principal. ‘’All of you get back to class!”  it felt like school was jail.

We waited and waited but no one came are we going to be here forever ?

Lost on a Island

As I slowly open my eyes I find myself in the middle of the sea. I look ahead and I see a small Island then I paddle with my hands as fast as I can. Finally I approached the Island.  My eyes were glued to the pool of salt water. Suddenly The sun drops down ‘’what happened” , As I try to see what is ahead, I hear a growl in the bushes. Then the sun came up. I walk slowly to the jungle the first thing I see is coconuts hanging from a huge tree.”I need that coconut” As I shake the tree as hard as I can. I felt something on my back it was a sizzling snake. As I run deeper into the jungle, I heard the growl again but this time. I knew what it was a lion. without warning  the lion leap out of nowhere. I run out of the jungle it felt like the ion kick me out of a party. Then I sat down on the shimmering sand thinking what to do next. I decided to build a shelter. As the sun went down one at a time stars pop out to see me and they the shimmered  like a diamonds. It  felt like days were weeks. Suddenly I felt a drop of water it was rain. It felt like the could were crying. As the moon went away the sun came up and welcome me. As I get up to get some wood to make a boat I feel the coat of bark on the trees. I jump with happiness to finally get of this Iland. At once I pull the boat near to the sea i hop on the boat and sail    off ‘’finally I am free,

As I approached the wetland my eyes were drawn towards the slimy mud. The mud oozed into my shoes. As I looked around. I heard the birds singing to me. I took one step I smelt the fresh clean wind through my nose. Once I looked up the tree it was standing as strong as a table. Next I feel the rough bark on the tree. I take one more step I felt the soggy mud coming up to my knees. I see the water crashing into the huge rocks. I taste the fresh air going through my mouth. The mud felt like quink sand.
